The Bible has equally brutal and backward laws. For the most part the Western world ignores them. Large chunks (not all) of Islam however choose to live by Sharia in the 21 st century.
I’m not dissing the Islamic religion. I’m dissing the individual people who choose to live by Sharia. The brutality is coming from their choices. Not a book.
