Fox News tried to pass off old new footage of McCain as current in order to make him look younger

    Yep. Passing off “false” news footage. I don’t think the word “scummy” is too strong.

    Scummy to be sure, but who are they trying to fool? Doesn’t everyone know that’s not what John McCain looks like now? Or just everyone who doesn’t watch Fox News?

    I’ve seen pictures of him where he looks worse and then better. I just figured it was a trick of the camera, lighting, how he felt etc. Maybe they thought other people would just assume that too.
