I never thought I would read an editorial by professor Peter Singer in the New York Daily News
I don’t think there is a realistic chance for a much needed tax on gas, much less meat, but Dr. Singer makes a strong argument for a tax on meat and gives the reader a good education on the issues along the way.
According to this British study cats have a number of different kinds of purring. One type involves an embedded sound on the same frequency as the crying of human babies and cats learn to use this type of purring when they really want something.
