Ha. When I was in college I worked in a food collective co-run by a group of about 25 students. We had a stereo for the store which we all took turns at. Almost everyone there was into music you couldn’t find in mainstream stores. All except for me :). My musical tastes were looked down upon, which I found amusing.
My favorite comment came from a punk co-worker who was into hardcore and go-go. I was a bit of nutrition maven at the time and he was a junkatarian.
He told me that I listen to music the way he eats! 🙂
