So naturally he also wanted to conquer most of Europe…

He brought democracy to France before he became an emperor and he also brought progressive ideas with him to the countries he invaded before he got corrupt.

Well, he was responsible for making orphans of a great many children. I imagine that giving them rights was the least he could do.
