I never thought I would read an editorial by professor Peter Singer in the New York Daily News
I don’t think there is a realistic chance for a much needed tax on gas, much less meat, but Dr. Singer makes a strong argument for a tax on meat and gives the reader a good education on the issues along the way.
This interesting chart shows very clearly that choosing to eat a plant based diet makes a huge difference in the lives of animals.

I love the annual Halloween episode on The Simpsons. This year in addition to being funny The Simpson creators injected some life saving education into the laughs. This is a good thing as many people would not otherwise learnof this issue.
